As a team of American scientists stationed in the Antarctic are exposed to an alien creature that assumes the form of any living organism, Black Label's survival horror epic The Thing takes shape. A direct sequel to John Carpenter's 1982 horror film of the same name, The Thing allows players to take the role of a search and rescue specialist who's been sent to solve the mysteries that the movie left behind. Developed by the internal team at Computer Artworks, the game utilizes a gameplay mechanic never before used in the genre -- a trust and fear interface that enables players to monitor the psychological states of NPCS who may actually be The Thing itself.
